In July 2019, NRG Systems tested its Bat Deterrent System at Fernhill Wetlands in Portland, Oregon. A single ultrasonic acoustic deterrent unit was deployed alongside three infrared cameras. Nighttime bat activity was observed while the deterrent unit was switched off, and again when the unit was switched on. The following video shows the impact the activation of the Bat Deterrent System had on bats in the surrounding area.
