HINESBURG, VT, U.S. – Renewable NRG Systems (RNRG), a designer and manufacturer of decision support tools for the global renewable energy industry, has announced the hire of several key staff members in the engineering, sales, accounting, human resources, and production departments.

Danielle LaRocque, Accounting Specialist, Accounts Payable, is a recent graduate of the business technology and management bachelor's program at Vermont Technical College. She served as an accounting intern at Paya's North, Inc., where she honed her skills in bookkeeping, task and project management, invoice entry, supply logistics, P.O. tracking and entry, and accounts receivable/accounts payable reconciliations.

Ashleigh McCrory, Software Engineer, comes to RNRG from MyWebGrocer, where she was the development lead for several product releases of retail grocery applications. Experienced in the development of large scale .NET applications, McCrory earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from Saint Michael's College.

Edward Plourde, Senior Software Engineer, previously worked as lead information technology specialist for the U.S. Department of Agriculture. His diverse work experience has included such projects as an application that automates the management of U.S.D.A. Rural Utility loan and grant programs, a centralized database of displaced hurricane Katrina victims, and an eBay Power Seller application. Plourde holds a bachelor's degree in computer science/electrical engineering from the University of Vermont.

Jonathan Ritter, Manufacturing Engineering Technician, recently graduated from the University of Vermont with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. During his studies, he was awarded the Electrical Engineering Sophomore Award and Electrical Engineering Junior Award, and he served as an intern at IBM and an electrical engineering tutor at UVM Learning Co-op.

John Ugland, Technical Account Manager, Condition Monitoring Systems, was previously the manager of performance engineering at UpWind Solutions. At UpWind, he was responsible for all wind turbine performance and engineering support functions, including new product development, top issues and parts approval, reliability-centered maintenance activities, and business development support. He holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and he is a master's candidate at the University of Ohio.

Natalie Wheating, Human Resources Associate, previously worked in California for sustainability-focused organizations such as Green Source Organics, where her responsibilities ranged from marketing, to sales, to customer relations. Natalie first joined RNRG as an administration and human resources intern. She holds a bachelor's degree in environmental studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
