How does SymphoniePRO manage time?

Each data logger includes a Lithium battery-backed real time clock with leap year correction. This ensures uninterrupted and accurate time keeping through system power cycles, disconnected batteries, etc.

In addition to the internal clock, two user-selectable choices for time management are available in SymphoniePRO with iPackGPS. The first method uses GPS to set time, which has highest accuracy. The second method uses an SNTP internet time server which is accurate, and sometimes is preferred if performing co-location studies with other devices not capable of GPS time sync.
