SymphoniePRO App | Timeline

The Timeline is used for viewing and editing all time based site metadata. Many different data sources are shown chronologically alongside each other in this view in order to provide a comprehensive picture of what has happened to the site over the course of its service life.

To adjust the timescale:

1. Select the Timeline icon

2. Click and drag the blue start and end dates on the timeline at the top of the page.

The top of the Channels table has four rows. File, Events, Communications, Notes

Select File to view:
  • File Name
  • Start and End dates
  • Data points
  • File size
  • Events
  • Communication logs
(Note: Double clicking an *.rld file box on the far right will open the file in Quick View).

Select Comm to view:

The carrier, signal strength, connection duration, bytes of information transmitted and received and the timestamp of the communications.

The Note section allows for changes to the sensors to be documented within the timeline.

To enter a note, right click within the note field at the date and time of your choosing and select Create new note. (Note: An example of a note would be if a sensor was swapped or the SD card was pulled).

To view or edit sensor information on the timeline:

Double click on a sensor row and the sensors information will pop up in a window and be visible on the right side of the page.

To Create New Sensor History:

Right click at desired date on the timeline and select Create New Sensor History. A break in the sensors history will appear in the timeline, indicating a change or replacement.
