NRG GSM WorldWide iPack - Bad Time Server" or “No File to Send” error - might be related to blank Primary and/or Secondary DNS"

When using a NRG GSM WorldWide iPack (item 3860), a user may encounter a "bad time server" or "no file to send" error.
These errors would typically appear when a bad time server (make sure you are using a valid RFC 868 compliant server) setting is loaded, or Symphonie has no files to send (make sure the MMC card is installed and contains one or more files).

However, these errors might also appear if one or more of the DNS fields are left blank...in this case, the errors may appear within a few moments of beginning the "call now" process.

The "bad time server" message could be an indication that the primary DNS is blank.

The "no files to send" message could be an indication that the secondary DNS is blank.

If this should happen, be sure that the primary and secondary DNS fields are not blank. If you did not receive DNS information from your ISP (some ISP's do not give out DNS and instead use an alternate method such as WINS), try setting the Primary and Secondary DNS to 0.0.0.0 with the SDR software.
