The SR300-D1 from Hukseflux is a Class A pyranometer designed for industrial-grade solar radiation monitoring per IEC 61724-1. It delivers the highest accuracy measurements with the lowest cost of ownership, without the need for additional accessories.
This all-digital sensor offers precise irradiance measurements and high data availability, thanks to a robust feature set that includes internal heating and ventilation, a tilt sensor, a status LED, and integrated surge protection.
In addition to solar irradiance, the SR300-D1 delivers the following value-added measurements:
- alert: instrument leakage
- alert: change of tilt and rotation
- alert: heating malfunction
- internal humidity
- internal pressure
- instrument tilt and rotation
These functionalities are accessible via the sensor’s Modbus RS-485 output, which integrates seamlessly across NRG’s solar product offerings, including NRG's suite of data loggers.
The SR300-D1 complies with the latest industrial and safety standards for PV power plants including immunity, emission, electrical, environmental, and safety requirements, making it the ideal choice where the highest measurement reliability and accuracy are required. Local and remote diagnostic features, including status LED and automatic leakage detection further the sensor’s impressive data availability.
The SR300-D1 comes with a full sensor-specific characterization to the parameters of ISO 9060:2018, calibration certificate, and sun screen (cable sold separately). Please note that as with all thermopile pyranometers, regularly scheduled maintenance is imperative to achieve the sensor’s specified performance.
