No NRG folder appears when reading Symphonie MMC card or MMC appears blank

If the NRG folder is inadvertently deleted when copying files from the MMC, it will appear as though the MMC is blank. However, the card will show bytes consumed on the card, indicating the presence of data files.

This condition is caused when files are transferred from the MMC using ‘cut & paste’ in Windows instead of ‘copy & paste’. If you used cut & paste, it is very likely that the data files are already on your computer’s hard drive somewhere. Using the ‘Search’ function in Windows Explorer or sorting by modified date will help you find where you pasted the files.

If you are unable to find your files on your computer, please contact NRG to arrange for the return of your MMC for data extraction. Do not attempt to use any data restoration tools that may be on your computer.
