Instructions

While software upgrades are conducted right on your PC, firmware upgrades need to be administered directly to the SymphoniePRO Data Logger and iPack devices. With SymphoniePRO, these firmware upgrades can be done either locally with a USB-connected PC or remotely via MetLink. Version 3.1.6* -- 8/14/2019

**Note: Loggers updated to this version cannot be downgraded to prior versions.**

*General release; NRG Systems recommends users upgrade all loggers to this version.

  • Adds capability to use Modbus RTU serial sensors on COM-A and COM-B serial ports (Note: Hukseflux SR30 support included; contact NRG to request support for new device models)
  • Updates *.RLD file handling to prevent automated delivery of invalid files
  • Updates *.RLD file closure routine around logger reset events

  • Resolved issue with SD card showing “E” instead of “F” when full under certain conditions

**Compatibility Note: User must update logger to v.2.2.4 or higher prior to installation of iPackACCESS v.2.0.6.**

  • Improved data transfer stability when using BGAN M2M Satellite Terminal (i.e., in conjunction with iPackACCESS)
  • Resolved issue with *.RLD file closure time. Files now close at Logger midnight after an update to the Logger’s time zone.
