Configuration Options

The MS-80 Pyranometer is a unique pyranometer compliant to the "Fast response" and "Spectrally flat" sub-categories under ISO 9060:2018 Class A. Its innovative design consists of a small, single-dome / quartz diffuser construction that boasts remarkably low zero-offset behavior at an economical price. The MS-80 can be integrated with a heater and ventilator for use in regions impacted by dew, frost, snow, and dust.

The MS-80 is also available as a digital sensor (the “MS-80S”), which has Modbus RTU as well as analog output (4-20 mA and 0-1 V) options. The MS-80S includes onboard diagnostic measurements such as body temperature, pitch, and roll to further ensure optimal performance in a variety of environmental conditions. Both the MS-80 and MS-80S are fully supported throughout NRG’s solar product offerings, including seamless integration with the SymphoniePRO Data Logger as well as mounting support for SRA & SRM Systems as well as industry-standard PV array designs.

Each MS-80 Pyranometer comes with an ISO 17025 certified calibration report, including directional and temperature response characterization and validation.
