Connecting a #40 anemometer or 200P wind vane to a Campbell Scientific datalogger

Connection of a NRG #40 and 200P wind vane to a Campbell Scientific logger (such as the CR10X) can be accomplished by using a Campbell computer program called Short Cut" (SCWin). When Short Cut is run, the user will be prompted for the Campbell datalogger model and logger operating system. During this configuration process, the user also selects sensors from a menu. SCWin version 2.3 or greater includes the NRG #40 and 200P sensors in the selection list. Short Cut allows the customer to program the data logger, and generates a wiring diagram to correctly locate all of the wires. The program can be obtained free of charge at: http://www.campbellsci.com/scwin.
