9200-PLUS NRG Logger data collection

The logger counts incoming pulses for 2 seconds then converts this to a value. This value becomes one 'sample'. These samples are then used by the logger to determine 10 minute average, etc. The highest 2-second sample for the entire logging period is the peak gust. The values are stored as 'raw' counts inside the logger. The reading software scales the data for either metric (m/s) or English (mph) units as the data are read and files are created. The ASCII files show the gusts in the scaled units (m/s or mph) while the raw files keep the information in the raw format (pulses). The 9300 logger functions the same way but uses a 1 second sample.
