Connecting a Windsensor (RISO) P2546A Anemometer to Symphonie Loggers

The Windsensor P2546A anemometer (commonly referred to as the RISO anemometer) is fully compatible with all Symphonie loggers.

For Symphonie and SymphoniePLUS loggers:

• Use channels 4, 5 or 6
• Use 3151 Digital Anemometer SCM (see product page)

The connections are as follows

• WHITE wire to Ctr +
• BROWN wire to Ctr -

All P2546A anemometers are individually calibrated and are shipped with calibration slope and offset parameters. In lieu of using those values, the following slope and offset are commonly used:

• Slope (scale factor) = 0.6201 m/s
• Offset = 0.270 m/s

SymphoniePLUS3 loggers can use the above settings, or can accommodate the sensor in any of the preconfigured anemometer channels; 1, 2, 3, 13, 14, and 15.
