Configuration Options

The NRG BP65 Barometric Pressure Sensor is well-suited for the barometric pressure measurement requirements of remote wind and solar energy studies, particularly as an input to air density and annual energy production calculations. Its durable housing protects the high accuracy sensing element, providing reliable operation in a variety of climates and conditions.

Each BP65 unit undergoes a single-point check to confirm performance within the sensor’s specifications, the results of which are available in a factory verification certificate at no additional cost. A three-point calibration is also available.

The BP65 maintains the proven design of its predecessor, the BP60, ensuring seamless transition to this next generation sensor.

*Please note: BP65C is the calibrated version of this sensor.

  • High accuracy at an economical price point
  • Native temperature-compensation allows the sensor to react to internal temperature changes almost immediately
  • Well-suited for remote wind and solar energy studies with low, 1 mA current draw
  • Designed to be a drop-in replacement for the BP60 for seamless transitions
  • Cable lengths up to 110m and an optional up-tower bracket provide flexible mounting options
