Description  
Boom type Sensor mounting boom for standard NRG sensors on tubular towers
Applications Wind resource assessment, Solar resource assessment and monitoring; for mounting an NRG #40 Anemometer or an NRG #200M Wind Direction Vane on an NRG tubular tower where long offset distances are required

Installation  
Mounting
  • Boom attaches to tower with stainless steel hose clamps
  • Sensor mounts to boom with set screw and cotter pin
Tools required
  • 5/16 inch hex driver or flat blade (-) screwdriver for hose clamps
  • 9/16 inch wrench or nut driver for boom plates
  • Phillips head (+) screwdriver to mount sensor
Recommended for installation
  • Electric drill for tightening hose clamps
  • Sheet metal shears or similar for trimming hose clamps
