NRG Systems new and improved three (3) cup heated anemometer is designed specifically for wind turbine control in all weather conditions.

The NRG Systems IceFree Hybrid™ XT Turbine Control anemometer has improved heating capabilities for better operation in cold climates, meaning less turbine downtime. The modular design of the fully-enclosed bearing cartridge results in improved serviceability and longer bearing life.  The quick-release mount makes installation easy for turbine technicians.  Fully digital output allows for reliable and accurate operation. 

The IceFree Hybrid XT anemometer is rated for a maximum speed of 70 m/s (156 mph) and is compatible with digital inputs of turbine controllers and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
