Description
The WindSensor P2546A anemometer is a dependable wind measurement sensor constructed of durable materials, including anodized aluminium and stainless steel.
Wind speed is measured using a three-cup, one-piece rotor assembly. Permanent magnets mounted on the shaft cause a switch to open and close two times per revolution. The switch has no bounce and is equipped with a special built-in mechanism which reduces the variation in operating time over the frequency range. This feature provides instantaneous wind speed by measuring the time interval of each revolution.
