SymphoniePLUS is the core of NRG Systems’ complete system approach: tower, logger and sensors all designed to work together specifically for measuring the wind’s energy.
SymphoniePLUS is rugged and its proven design means data is reliably collected and safely stored, even in the harshest weather conditions.
Based on the Symphonie data logger, the wind industry’s first Internet-enabled wind resource assessment data logger, SymphoniePLUS features three additional channels for anemometers. If you already own Symphonie, you can now expand your measurement studies with SymphoniePLUS using the same Symphonie accessories.
SymphoniePLUS collects and stores time-stamped data from up to nine frequency output sensors and up to six analog sensors – 15 channels total. Six anemometer and two wind direction channels are built-in, and up to seven "plug and play" Signal Conditioning Modules (SCMs), purchased separately, can be installed to add additional sensors. Data is averaged every 10 minutes, time-stamped and stored on a Multi Media Card (MMC). Each MMC is capable of storing over 365 days of SymphoniePLUS data. Tested MMCs are supplied by NRG (one MMC included in each kit). A real-time display and keypad are built into the logger to facilitate site visits.
Automated Data Transfer
To automate transfer of site data, SymphoniePLUS interfaces with your choice of Symphonie iPack communication modules. An iPack transfers data via a third-party communication service: satellite-based Iridium network, or land-based cellular GSM, CDMA Verizon and CDMA Telus networks. When SymphoniePLUS is deployed with an iPack, site visits to retrieve MMC data become unnecessary; the data is automatically transferred to your assigned ISP via email. All Symphonie iPacks are designed to be "plug and play", requiring only minimal hardware configuration. Like all accessories, Symphonie iPacks are compatible with both Symphonie and SymphoniePLUS data loggers.
NRG Systems SymphoniePLUS 15-channel data logger is always the right choice for your wind energy measurement studies.

NOTE: Due to additional power requirements, choosing a BP-20 or RH-5 SCM for a barometric pressure sensor or relative humidity sensor requires a Symphonie iPack to provide the necessary 12V source (use Symphonie iPack for PV Only for sites where automated data communications are not needed).
