Side mount booms are used to mount an NRG #40C Anemometer or NRG #200P Wind Direction Vane to NRG TallTowers 8 inches or 10 inches in diameter. Made of galvanized steel, these 2.4 m (95 inch) booms resist corrosion and mount sensors away from NRG TallTowers to minimize tower induced flow distortions.
