NRG-XHD NOW Systems include everything necessary for a typical wind resource assessment project. The systems are pre-configured which makes ordering, shipping, and installation simple. In addition to meeting or exceeding industry standards, shipping via surface freight is always free, and all XHD NOW Systems are offered at a significant discount over purchasing the individual items separately. The 50 meter XHD Symphonie NRG-NOW System combines the industry's strongest tilt-up tower and proven Symphonie logger with six calibrated NRG #40C anemometers. This configuration provides for three levels of precise wind measurement and also includes a temperature probe for monitoring air temperature at the site.
- 2 calibrated anemometers and one wind direction sensor at the 50 meter level
- 2 calibrated anemometers and one wind direction sensor at the 40 meter level
- 2 calibrated anemometers at the 30 meter level
The 50-meter XHD NRG TallTower utilizes NRG Systems' innovative EnviroCrate packaging, which significantly reduces packaging waste and requires less energy to transport. NRG Systems uses wooden pallets and packaging because they are non-toxic and biodegradable. To prevent the spread of pests, all our wooden pallets and packaging are heat treated to ISPM No. 15, and safe to ship world-wide.
In the instance where measurement levels lower than 30m are required, due to the larger tube diameter of 254 mm (10 inches), a longer sensor boom is needed to meet the NRG recommended offset distance. See the product page for our 76 inch XHD boom, item 3991.
