New features for Symphonie Data Retriever Software

In response to customer requests NRG has improved the functionality of the Symphonie Data Retriever (SDR) software.

New features

Data can now be imported into a self-contained Microsoft Access compatible database and then exported in 10 or 60 minute tab delimited ASCII or WAsP format for any time range.

Additionally, comprehensive Wind Rose, Frequency Distribution and Summary reports can be generated for any time range. Monthly hourly averages graphs and tables can also be generated.

Attachment Extractor

For users who have Microsoft Outlook® 97+, the Attachment Extractor (Outauto.exe) can automate the process of collecting and saving email attachments.

It can move hundreds of emails containing .rwd attachments from your Outlook "inbox" to the "raw data folder" within moments and also only saves the larger of the two files from any one day.

With the extractor, you no longer need to open each email and save the attachment manually.

The Outauto.exe extractor is automatically installed with SDR and will not work with Outlook Express –only the full version of Outlook included with Microsoft Office.

SDR Version 4 can be downloaded at no charge from our support section. You will also want to download the newly revised Symphonie manual which contains the SDR documentation.
