NRG manufacturing team stays fine-tuned

Recently the entire NRG Manufacturing Team went to an all-day training workshop focusing on the basics of ''Flow Manufacturing''. The workshop centered on a hands-on improvement process rather than outdated "old style" manufacturing techniques. The workshop further served as a review of the priciples behind ''Flow Manufacturing'' and provided the opportunity to work hands-on and make experimental changes with the Flow Manufacturing model.

Throughtout the day, workshop improvements were made and new production processes were repeated allowing the NRG Manufacturing Team to see first hand the profound results which occur when applying the simple tools of Kanban signaling, point of use storage and a ''pull system'' model for manufacturing.

"It was great to see everyone's faces as the Team made changes and then witnessed the entire process from receiving to order fulfillment become so smooth and easy".
