NRG Systems Introduces the Super 60 Meter XHD

NRG Systems introduces the Super 60 meter XHD measurement tower for harsh winter climates
Hinesburg, VT—NRG Systems, manufacturer of measurement equipment and turbine optimization systems for the global renewable energy industry, has announced the introduction of its Super 60 meter XHD wind measurement tower built to withstand heavy wind and ice loads. The company made the announcement on the first day of the Canadian Wind Energy Conference in Toronto, Canada.
Based on the 80 meter XHD design, the Super 60 XHD features bolted joints, a larger baseplate, and thicker gauge tube. The installation method is similar to the 80 meter tower, with a reinforced gin-pole and heavy-duty winch. With the purchase of an optional 20-meter section, users are able to transform the Super 60 XHD to an 80 meter XHD.
“We are pleased to offer this rugged tower to Canadian customers and others who measure in harsh conditions,” said Lauren Hahl, Sales Account Manager for NRG Systems. “In addition to the ability to withstand high ice and wind loads, the optional 20 meters adds flexibility, allowing developers to use the tower in multiple ways throughout a project’s life cycle.”
The Super 60 XHD complete system is available for purchase now and ships free via surface freight to most locations in the world.
