WHAT: “Step It Up Rally” event asking Vermonters to gather and urge congress, the Vermont Legislature and Governor Douglas to “Step It Up” and cut carbon emissions 80% by 2050. The event at NRG Systems will feature:
- A “Carbon Diet” Fair with tools, toys and hybrid cars in partnership with Vermont resource organizations and businesses.
- Building tours of their Gold LEED certified building.
- A presentation by former Vermont Secretary of State, Don Hooper and his son Miles of selected cuts from “An Inconvenient Truth” with question and answer session.
