Hinesburg, VT – NRG Systems, Inc., a leading manufacturer of wind energy measurement systems for the global wind energy industry, announced that it will give away a calibrated 60m NRG Symphonie™ NOW System valued at $15,750 USD during the upcoming American Wind Energy Association’s (AWEA) Windpower 2007 conference and exhibition in Los Angeles, California, June 3-6.
“NRG is giving away a complete system at this conference to celebrate how far the industry and NRG have come over 25 years. Last year we introduced the ice-rated NRG 60-meter HD TallTower and it was an instant success. This year we are taking the industry’s strongest tilt-up tower and outfitting it with six calibrated NRG #40C anemometers. The need to drive uncertainty lower in all phases of a wind project is a common theme heard over and over at the numerous conferences we attend,” said Barton Merle-Smith, NRG Systems Director of Marketing & Sales. “We think it is important to do whatever we can to provide a stable and reliable platform for data collection that helps the industry achieve that goal. This system does that. We even package the entire tower into one crate using our EnviroCrate™ packing system. Everything you need for wind measurement is included – just add wind,” said Merle-Smith.
AWEA conference attendees, customers and potential customers will be able to view the complete, calibrated 60-meter NRG Symphonie NOW System as packaged in its EnviroCrateTM, and participate in the drawing June 5 simply by visiting NRG Systems’ exhibit, Booth #523 and entering the drawing. Due to logistical constraints, the winner must be able to provide a North American SHIP TO address for delivery of the System within 24-hours of winner notification. Shipping is free, however the winner is responsible for any taxes and fees.
All 50- and 60-meter HD NRG TallTowers shipped after July 31st will utilize NRG Systems’ innovative EnviroCrate packaging. The EnviroCrate significantly reduces packaging waste and requires less energy to transport. The 60m HD TallTower package weighs 3,126 pounds. Package dimensions are 90.25”L x 46.5“W x 41.375”H. The complete 60-meter Symphonie NOW System package includes the proven Symphonie data logger, sensors, cables and mounting hardware.
