– NRG Systems, Inc., a leading manufacturer of wind energy measurement systems for the global wind energy industry, will give away a complete 60m XHD Calibrated SymphonieTM NOW System valued at $15,750 USD during the American Wind Energy Association’s (AWEA) Windpower 2008 conference and exhibition in Houston, Texas.

According to NRG Systems, the complete 60m XHD Calibrated Symphonie NOW System comes with everything needed for effective wind measurement, including the XHD TallTower, the industry’s strongest tilt-up tower, and six calibrated NRG #40C anemometers. The system also features a Symphonie Iridium Satellite iPack that comes with 400 prepaid minutes.

The drawing for the system will be held at 6 p.m. on June 3. AWEA conference attendees will be able to see the complete 60m XHD Calibrated Symphonie NOW System and enter the drawing at the NRG Systems booth (#1525). The system winner will be notified by phone within 24 hours of the drawing and must be able to provide a North American SHIP TO address for delivery of the system at the time of notification. Shipping is free; however the winner is responsible for all applicable taxes, duties and fees.
The 60m XHD TallTower package weighs 3,126 pounds. Package dimensions are 90.25”L x 46.5”W x 41.375”H. To minimize packaging waste and reduce the energy required for shipping, NRG Systems packages the complete system in its EnviroCrate™ packing system.
