Hinesburg, VT – Jan Blittersdorf, President and CEO of NRG Systems, will speak on a panel of industry leaders as part of the American Wind Energy Association’s WINDPOWER 2009 Job Fair in Chicago. The session entitled, Transitioning Your Skills to the Wind Industry, will take place on Wednesday, May 6 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The American Wind Energy Association expects this session to attract 500 attendees, most of whom are seasoned professionals looking to adapt their skills to the wind industry.
Blittersdorf has served NRG Systems for more than 20 years in human resources, finance and executive management roles. In 2006, she was the first woman to be named Wind Woman of the Year by the Women of Wind Energy (WoWE) for her leadership, inspiration, and contributions to the industry. Blittersdorf serves on the national steering committee of WoWE, as the Vice Chair of the American Wind Wildlife Institute, and as a member of the American Wind Energy Association’s Audit Committee.
