Hinesburg, VT – NRG Systems, Inc., a leading manufacturer of wind energy measurement systems for the global wind energy industry, announced that Peter Clibbon of Renewable Energy Systems (RES), Canada, won the 60m XHD Calibrated NRG Symphonie™ NOW System at CanWEA’s 23rd Annual Conference and Trade Show held in Quebec City. The 60m XHD Calibrated Symphonie NOW System, which is valued at $15,750 USD, includes six calibrated NRG #40C anemometers as well as NRG’s new XHD TallTower^TM.

 “NRG Systems gave away a complete system at this conference to celebrate how far the industry and NRG have come over 25 years,” said Barton Merle-Smith, NRG Systems director of marketing and sales. “Last year we introduced the ice-rated NRG 60-meter HD TallTower and it was an instant success. This year we introduced the XHD TallTower, the industry’s strongest tilt-up tower, and equipped it with six calibrated NRG #40C anemometers to reduce data uncertainty in all phases of a wind project.”

All 50- and 60-meter XHD NRG TallTowers, which are the foundation of the NRG NOW Systems, now utilize NRG Systems’ innovative EnviroCrate™ packaging. The EnviroCrate significantly reduces packaging waste and requires less energy to transport.
