“NRG Systems gave away a complete system at this conference to celebrate how far the industry and NRG have come over 25 years,” said Barton Merle-Smith, NRG Systems director of marketing and sales. “Last year we introduced the ice-rated NRG 60-meter HD TallTower and it was an instant success. This year we introduced the XHD TallTower, the industry’s strongest tilt-up tower, and equipped it with six calibrated NRG #40C anemometers to reduce data uncertainty in all phases of a wind project.”

All 50- and 60-meter XHD NRG TallTowers, which are the foundation of the NRG NOW Systems, now utilize NRG Systems’ innovative EnviroCrate™ packaging. The EnviroCrate significantly reduces packaging waste and requires less energy to transport.

The more than 1,500 CanWEA attendees were eligible to enter the drawing by visiting NRG Systems’ booth at the conference. Based in the UK with offices around the world including the U.S. and Canada, RES is one of the world’s leading renewable energy developers.

Founded in 1982, NRG Systems is celebrating 25 years in the global wind energy industry. NRG Systems wind measurement equipment can be found in more than 120 countries, serving electric utilities, wind farm developers, research institutes, government agencies, universities, and homeowners. CEO and company president Jan Blittersdorf notes that NRG Systems is currently expanding its 46,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Vermont to accommodate the company’s growth due to the increasing worldwide demand for wind energy.THE PDF
