NRG Training Program

NRG Systems is pleased to offer comprehensive training on our TallTowers™, SymphoniePLUS3 data logger, sensors, and software. Designed for installers, project managers, developers and consultants, our training program offers a hands-on educational opportunity to learn how to install our products safely and use them in ways that optimize the success of your wind measurement campaigns. This is a formal demonstration session designed to complement the detailed product manuals available on NRG Systems’ website.

All training sessions are conducted at NRG Systems and participants must register at least two (2) weeks prior to the training program date. Training Program dates for 2013 are listed below.  Please contact NRG Systems to confirm availability.

Training Topics:

  • SymphoniePLUS3 data logger overview and programming
  • Sensors overview (#40C Anemometer, #200P Vane, #110S Temperature, RH-5X Relative Humidity, BP-20 Barometric Pressure, LI-200SZ Pyranometer)
  • Symphonie iPackGPS programming and troubleshooting
  • Symphonie Data Retriever (SDR) Software
  • NRG TallTower safety review, sensor and boom orientation
  • NRG TallTower raising and lowering
  • Q & A session

Program Cost
  • $1200 USD/day for up to 5 participants + $250 USD/day for each additional participant.
  • Includes lunch at NRG Systems.
  • Full payment required prior to registration. Payment can be made by credit card, check, money order, or wire transfer.
Equipment Requirements

Each participant must bring sturdy work boots (steel-toed boots recommended) and should also bring rain gear. NRG Systems will provide safety glasses, safety helmets, and work gloves.

NRG Systems is located in northwestern Vermont, USA. Seasonal variations may require special outdoor work clothes to protect from inclement weather. Contact NRG Systems for more details.
