Lidar Remote Sensor NRG Systems now offers a Lidar Remote Sensor solution for wind resource assessment and wind farm performance monitoring. Our portable, easy-to-use Lidar system provides complete wind profiles at heights up to 200 meters.

	Windcube™
	The Windcube™ provides 200-meter vertical wind profiles, mapping wind speed and direction, turbulence, and wind shear. The portable system includes ten programmable measurement heights with an automatic data filter for ready-to-use data and a waterproof, dustproof enclosure for all weather conditions. The Windcube™ is an independently tested, compact, secure, and easy to use system with unmatched performance designed for wind measurement.

I think there is a great future for remote sensing.
The combination of LIDAR and traditional
anemometry is a very good one and Garrad
Hassan is already using remote sensing data
in combination with conventional methods and data.
