This way of manufacturing has become a core management philosophy in our company. Our long-standing commitment to lean manufacturing has increased our flexibility and productivity, reduced costs and waste and enabled us to maintain tight controls on product quality. Simply put, lean manufacturing allows us to provide quality products where and when our customers need it. Our manufacturing facility is another example of our company’s commitment to efficiency. By investing in the best energy efficiency technologies and powering our building with renewable energy, we have minimized our company's impact on the environment and have essentially prepaid our energy bill for the long term. When our new facility was built in 2004, it was one of only five industrial facilities in the world to receive gold LEED certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
