• Environmental stewardship, renewable energy, and sustainable practices and policies. We support nonprofit organizations that are working to ensure the survival of our planet. This support is based on the same conviction that led to our company’s founding and guides our day-to-day business: the urgent need to provide for a sustainable energy future. NRG Systems giving focuses primarily in Vermont, but proposals from nonprofit organizations outside the state will be considered if they offer opportunities for regional or national impact.

• The people of Vermont. We support nonprofits that directly affect our Vermont neighbors by promoting health, safety, environmental quality, education, arts, and culture. We want our home state to be a better place to live, work, and raise families, and an example to the world of sustainable possibilities. We are committed first to support the communities surrounding the Hinesburg, Vermont headquarters of NRG Systems, but will consider compelling proposals from other areas of the state.

How To Apply

The NRG Systems corporate giving program accepts proposals from nonprofit organizations only. Deadlines for grant and sponsorship funding requests are March 1, June 1, and September 1. For further information about NRG Systems funding priorities and application process, please email us.
