Barton Merle-Smith

Barton brought more than 10 years of experience in developing, implementing and managing the daily and long-range operations of multifaceted small businesses when he joined NRG Systems in 2001. He previously owned and operated The Diamondback Company, a manufacturer and distributor of high-quality carbon fiber fly fishing rods. With more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience, Barton is responsible for marketing and sales leadership and strategy at NRG Systems. He is a member of the AWEA Communications Team, the AWEA Membership Committee and also on the board and a founding member of Volunteer Vermont for Justice, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing racially diverse communities together through building projects. He attended Ithaca College.
