NRG Systems will ship your wind measurement system to most locations in the world at no charge via surface freight. We will select the best method of shipment for your order. NRG Systems will work with you to deliver your order to a convenient ocean port. If you have any shipping questions please contact our Sales department (sales@nrgsystems.com). We can ship to any worldwide destination except where prohibited by US law.*
*These commodities, technology, or software will be exported from the United States in accordance with the Export Administration Regulations. Diversion contrary to U.S. law is prohibited.
Air freight is available for an additional charge per kilogram. Any import licenses, pre-shipment inspections, or other import requirements are the responsibility of the customer. International shipments are made subject to the Incoterms of 2000. Incoterms define the responsibilities of the shipper and consignee regarding risk transfer, freight carriage and insurance (CIF and CIP only).
NRG Systems uses wooden pallets and packaging because they are non-toxic and biodegradable. To prevent the spread of pests, all our wooden pallets and packaging are heat treated to ISPM No. 15, and safe to ship world-wide.
Prices and Terms of Sale
NRG Systems' prices include export packaging, surface freight, and insurance to most shipping locations. Domestic shipments are FOB Hinesburg , Vermont and are door to door. International shipments will follow an appropriate term of sale (Incoterm) as listed below. Prices are subject to change without notice.
Applicable incoterms are explained as follows:
CIF - Cost, Insurance, & Freight (to named point of destination)
- NRG will ship and insure the order to the closest mutually acceptable ocean port free of charge
- Customer arranges for inland transportation to the final destination, and pays for import handling, duties, and taxes
- Risk of loss or damage to goods transfers at point of export
- CIF is applicable to ocean shipments only
CIP - Cost Insurance Paid (to named point of destination)
- NRG will ship and insure the order to the final destination via surface freight for free, or will ship by air freight for a small additional charge
- Customer pays for the import handling, duties, and taxes
- Risk of loss or damage to goods transfers when NRG Systems delivers goods to appointed carrier.
- CIP is used for courier, air freight, and truck shipments
FCA - Free Carrier (to named point of export)
- NRG arranges and pays to bring the freight to the export agent in the US specified by the customer
- Customer arranges for main carriage, import, and delivery to the final destination
- Risk transfers at point of export once in custody of the agent
EXW - EX-Works (Hinesburg, VT)
- NRG places the freight at the customer's disposal at NRG's factory, provides export documentation
- Customer arranges and pays for the transport of the goods to the final destination and import * Risk transfers at NRG's factory
