NRG Systems Industry-Standard Sensors and Long Booms
Precise and proven accurate for wind energy measurement studies. Long, 2.4m (95") booms assure your measurement study meets or exceeds industry standard sensor offset distances.

  • System package includes six calibrated NRG #40C anemometers:
    • 2 calibrated anemometers and one wind direction sensor at the 50 meter level
    • 2 calibrated anemometers and one wind direction sensor at the 40 meter level
    • 2 calibrated anemometers at the 30 meter level
  • Configured for three levels of precise wind measurement.
  • Includes a temperature probe for monitoring air temperature at the site.
  • SymphoniePLUS supports up to nine anemometers.
  • LONG BOOMS
    • Galvanized steel, the 2.4 m (95”) side mount boom resists corrosion
    • Designed to securely mount NRG sensors away from NRG TallTowers to minimize tower shadowing effects
    • Horizontal mast offset: 12.38D on 8” diameter tube; 10D on 10” diameter tube
    • Vertical boom offset : 20D above boom for an NRG #40C anemometer, exceeding IEC 61400-12-1 minimum recommendation
